10 from 19. 8 in stages of molt and one THINKS she wants to be broody AGAIN! Out lights run from 4am-9am. I buy cheap eggs on clearance to specifically make us hard boiled eggs. 50cents a dozen I sell out of fresh eggs as fast as we use them and the girls lay them!

5 from 14, of those 14 three are molting and one just came out of chicken jail..so don't expect eggs from her for a week or two. So 5 from 10. I'll take it.

Got our 1000th egg today!

We hit egg 800 today. All since feb 10th. I think all 14 are laying now. Some taking a molting break. Averaging 9 from 14 a day.

Light kicks on at 530am and runs until 730pm. (Off when sun is up) we are in full molt. 8 of 14 layer

10/14 one was shell free

4pullets all started laying last week 3 hens laying since february 3 easter chicks...still waiting on those, any day now 3 easter plus 3 weeks olds still waiting on those And get this...a 27! Week old blue laced red wyandotte who STILL hasn't given me an egg! What's up with that?! So of the 7...

3/3 and they all tried to get in the same nest box! Goofy chickens. I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go. Even if it means sitting on your sister's head.
