    They were so easy to cook too. Husband said that he prefers quail over chicken. This was the first time he’s ever eaten coturnix quail.

    That’s what I usually do. I cook it in the instant pot and it falls right off the bone. Makes things so much easier.

    I think anything 3 days and on is good. Eating it right off isn’t because it’ll be tough. People do that though and wonder why they don’t like it

    We do 5 days. I usually season them and vacuum seal them. After 5 days I freeze them

    I processed 4 cockerels on Saturday. They’ll be ready in 5 days. Think I’m going to do quail processing and not chickens for a while just to change it up.

    We have a hatchet and my husband made a contraption that holds the quail down with a piece of string. It offed them quickly and smoothly.

    You do it like I do. I don’t do the tortilla. I usually put lettuce on the bottom then pile everything on.
