Meatloaf made with half hamburger/half Italian sausage. I think next time I’ll use more beef and less sausage. I added blushing bunny on top and I think the meatloaf itself could use some basil, garlic and onion.
We had pork ribs cooked low and slow in the oven, then basted with homemade bbq sauce and put under the broiler for a few minutes. Smashed taters and pineapple chunks to go with.
I’ve seen it for sale here on Craigslist and other places and thought about it. We have a grocery store that sells it also but it goes quick and it’s extremely expensive. I think that’s ridiculous since it’s less work, kinda like diesel is is more expensive but it’s less refined than gasoline...
That looks good! The pudding we got from this restaurant was not as thick as what we made and the chia seeds swelled more. I don’t have a problem with it using the 2T per half cup of liquid but she does. I am trying to limit my sugar to only what I use in my coffee and then the rest from fruit.
Interesting that you think so. I find the texture of almond milk to be similar to regular milk, we drink whole milk, but I don’t care for the sweetness and it doesn’t taste creamy to me. In a chia pudding it might be ok though and we’ve talked about trying the almond milk instead.
Maybe. It’s more texture than taste and I don’t necessarily find that to be the case with almond milk vs cows milk. I haven’t talked to her so don’t know yet today how this batch came out.
Yes’m. She used 2 T chia to half cup milk but it was too thick. She’s trying 1.5 T tonight, it has been sitting for a couple hours so far and it’s thickened up but not enough yet.
Glad you’re feeling better! I’ve been having breathing treatments for a week twice a day after I moved a bunch of mulch last weekend. Poor baby, she looks like a sweet girl. Does she get along ok with the rest of your crew?
