I don't think I want to sell them beyond the few chicken swaps we go to I try to bring hatching eggs. But we gift neighbors eggs and I would like Hubby to bring some to work to gift as well. I have my candling license but that was just for fun and if we move some place in the future and feel we...
Oh my goodness where can I get egg cartons like that! So cute! Sounds like you also need to get a few leghorns for large white eggs and a few black copper marans!
I think that is possible to do but why would they hatch mixed eggs like that to ship like that? How would they know for sure what they are shipping from what for sure hatched to meet the order?
THAT IS SO GREAT!
For our Broody we put her in a small coop on her own, it worked well, specially after she had the chicks hatch, they had safe space of their own! Could you pen that nesting box in some place on it's own?

We have seen a young EE roo on top of both the sizzle and the cochin!
The really dirty egg next to it is the off white eggs I have been wondering might be my young Cayuga duck laying. I guess we will see when/if it hatches!
I got a tiny little egg today! It is going into the incubator. It is kind of tan so I wonder if one of the silkies or cochins gave it to us. It was even in the nesting box!
My crazy amazing husband let me put a tree up for the chickens! We had gotten it up but then realized it would be too small for the space it was going in and it has issues so rather than take it back, the chickens get their own tree. Going to hang apples and some bird seed treats.
I...
We started with 6 in the spring and got up to over 40 (Yes, I stopped counting!) and just gave 10 of them to my sister! LOL Chicken math is insanity! LOL
So we got home and all is well it seems in the chicken world here. We really need to weatherize the coops more over the next few days I...
