    YO GEORGIANS! :)

I have family in Powder Springs. Use to have family in Marietta.

It's new. Used to be $2-4 for day olds unless it was a fancy breed. Silkies would be $6-8.

Probably could get $20 for them. +-$5.

Yes, I think it'd be comparable. I've processed ees before. I just raise some cornish cross for chicken meat. They are sweet birds. I did process a few buff Orpington roos and they were very filled out. I don't do the cost things on chickens. I have been somewhat keeping track on my ducks out of...

I don't feel you'll make a profit on easter egger cockerels. You'll be lucky to get a few bucks. Have you processed an egg laying breed before? They are pretty thin compared to what you get at the grocery store. Plus tough if you don't cook it right. I give them away as soon as they show they're...

13 fluffs from the incubator and 4 more my broody hatched for me. Yes, I need to clean their pen.

Turkeys. There's 3 of them. They still have more time to go until they hatch.

I've hatched eggs from these chickens and I get a lot of black and then some red chicks. They come out cute.

I have some barnyard mix hatching. I'm working so my husband sent me a pic. Of course he completely opened the incubator. Lol. I gave 4 of the eggs to a first time broody so I'll see if she has babies tomorrow.

My turkey has decided to make her nest in the field outside the fence. Not very safe. I thought she was flying out so clipped one wing. She's still getting out. I've been taking her eggs every day too. Birds are stubborn.

If they are in the coop, blocked from wind, they'll be fine, imo.

    How old are they?

I'm not a fan of moving the broody around. Is she in an unsafe spot? I have removed eggs I didn't want hatched and slipped under ones I did. I just recently gave a broody four started eggs from my incubator. She's a first timer so we'll see how she does.

I don't know the sex. It won't mate and even with my older 9 week olds I can't tell the difference in sex. They are a cross of muscovy and pekin. I don't think I can ship. I haven't shipped live birds and don't have the proper boxes. I'm near macon/warner robins. I don't have a pic of the one I...

    YO GEORGIANS! :)

If you want one just for a pet, I have mule ducklings. They are mostly raised for meat as they are infertile and I've read don't lay eggs. (I haven't raised any long enough to see for myself yet) I have a few week old one in with some chicks as it was the only one who hatched that batch. I...
