That's why I'm delighted that mamas are raising the babies. The littles move around so much I can't get an accurate head count at the moment. The adults I can count.
I have to state that I have no experience with bantams. Cheetah and his daughters are pretty small for standard breeds and Hector, while currently my largest roo, isn't the largest I've ever had.

I was privileged to see a baby peeping the "Mommyyyyyyyyy, I'm lost!" call. Blurr (Focus' sister) walked up to the little, glanced at it, then walked past headed towards Focus. Baby blinked, then followed Blurr right back to mama.

yesterday as PITA hasn't taken her crew out yet this morning. She is the classic conservative worry wort mother hen.
Had watermelon and corn on the cob with dinner last night. Chooks got the cobs and rinds. PITA was yanking bits off the rind, throwing them on the ground and telling the babies to eat it. Babies were all "ummmm...Ma, what are you on about?"
Breakfast for the chooks finally arrivedhad a bit of a challenge working around babies when mamas are charging into the fray, roos are attempting to be vigilant guardians and kids are wanting to pet.
Had a moment when we found Blurr had managed to get between the chicken wire and the garden...
