As of now i have a broody silkie, Sunny, her eggs should hatch tomorrow... wish her luck!! I also have my two roos of course and my half silkies, Cuddles- girl, Stone- boy. We gave Timber- unknown, away to some friends, and some of our eggs we gave as ab-day present hatched too. SOOO love the...

Does anyone have a picture that compares the size of a silkie egg and a normal one? We think we got a silkie egg, but are not sure.

Sorry, new laptop, still have to send things to it... But Kohaku is gray, Blackie is of course black, and Sunny is a marbled silkie. She is such a darling!

Hello, new to this thread, but I love silkies! I have three, 2 roosters, Kohaku and Blackie, Formerly Akira. We originally thought Blackie was a girl, and Akira means thoughtful and intelligent. Kohaku means amber. The female's name is Kaya, which means sunny. So normally we call her Sunny...
