I’ve actually wanted to dye my silkies. How do you do it? Does it take a while for it to come out? Do the other chickens pick on it?

Thank you! They did a great job. It is very nice! I feel the same but it is nice looking back on them. I'm glad that our photographer is a friend because I feel like most people would be weirded out to take professional pictures of chickens!

Here's some old pictures of my past silkies (excuse how dirty they are). A friend took them and all but one are gone now so it's always nice to have pictures to look back on!

That's great. I didn't have that luck sadly this year. I only had 8 or 9 hatch out of the 16ish eggs I put under. But the broody died and we had to find an incubator and then of course the power went out for a day because of some fixing the city needed to do so I think that was the problem. I...

I don't think that a haircutting job is in the future for me. ;) Thankfully they're chickens and I can't understand what curse words they're saying to me.

I'll try to remember! I'm terrible at taking pictures though.. I always forget! They do don't they! I always do it in the winter because I never take pictures of them then and it's too embarrassing for me to show them off like that. :rolleyes:
