But you don't eat the feathers, and they have powerful medicinal qualities stored in those black bones. They taste very good too with Rosemary and lemon pepper. :drool
One thing about serving roast silky - guests take one look and say, "No thanks, I'll just have more of the stuffing and mashed potatoes." All the more for me. :drool
Getting serious, for a change, my favorite brooding breeds and mothers are game fowl, cochins, and silkies. All three breeds have their strengths/positive points, but in the overall picture silkies are best in my opinion.
"They're simply spectacular." Well, that's a bit of a stretch, but high quality silkies are easy on the eye.
As to those who know everything - lucky them. This old man is still eagerly learning. The true definition of intelligence is; "Knowing your limitations and what you really don't know."
