Another 7 quarts of soup in the cooker. Today I used left over pork roast, added mixed dried beans, chicken / pork broth. Precooked beans before putting into jars. Love knowing I have 7 nights of food put aside for this winter.
Next I want to find a good recipe for chilli beans to put up.
I ended up with 5 quarts of broth used 1 for canning chicken meat. The steam juicer is awesome. I got the style with a spigot instead of a rubber hose to drain off the juice.
