Tried sleeping. Had dreams (nightmares?) of chicken genetics. Then got up because I forgot to let the poor chickens out to free range this morning! Thankfully, only one more shift and then I'm off until Wednesday night again.

Oops, gave it away! LOL! Not that I was hiding it. ;)

My nephew was born on my birthday. I agree, it was no longer MY day after that.

Cinder blocks, the bane of my back too! And every other part of my body, even some I didn't know I had! I keep looking outside and looking at all the mess from over-winter, and procrastinating on cleaning it up...

My daughter got herself set up a few years ago. And a bear came along and destroyed *everything* within a week. :( The apiary was kind enough to give her another nuc, and the bear came back to finish the job...
