Dh mowed the yard again today. It didn't really need it, but would in a couple days. The thing is, it's suppose to rain for the next 5 days. It was either do it now, even if it didn't really need it, so it wouldn't be too tall after all the rain, or wait, and it would be tall, and harder to cut.

Ladies-Eight, being a caregiver is not an easy job. In addition to the extra work, it's very stressful. That combination can wear a person out. Be sure to take a little time for yourself, and to de-stress when you can.

Friday afternoon Dh took me out for our anniversary dinner. Dd was working, so we took the grands too. The place is called The Great Catch. The food there is impressive.

Especially when constantly cleaning, and picking up after the grands. They do help, and they're not overly bad about messes, except the youngest. I could follow her around all day, cleaning up after her, and work myself to death, with nothing to show for it at the end of the day. It would...

I've done quite a bit, but nothing that really shows, other than the duck house being done.

We are southern, so we have iced tea on hand almost all the time. We drink hot tea as well, especially at night. I prefer some of the flavored ones, when drinking hot tea. Peach is my favorite, followed by blackberry.

Dh went out, and re-stapled all the tarps back onto the coops, and tucked the chickens in. Some of them came loose during the high winds. Hopefully, this will be the last cold snap for the year.

No thank you. It's too cold here, as it is, let alone the temps. you're experiencing. I had to go through those type temps. when my dad was in the hospital in KY. Not fun at all.

We're getting the tail end of somebody's storm, that's for sure. Now the temp has dropped 15+ degrees, to 60, since about 9:00 am. It's going down into the 30's tonight. It was about 74 last night.

Sorry your fur son has been going through this. Hope he's better quickly. It's pouring rain, and the wind is howling outside right now. Lots of strong gusts. Good day to stay indoors, and out of this weather.
