Got my first blue egg today from my new Ameruacana pullet! So happy to have her and my new cockrel to join my flock! Not her first egg, but my first blue egg!

She looks exactly like one of my red sex links,,, when I ordered her she was called a "Golden Buff" They lay the BEST eggs, and mine lay almost every day... 6 out of 7 days a week, if not every day, and they are HUGE. So happy she has a lovely spot to live with you now!

Ha, shows you how frizzled I am,, I thought that was the pullets name. I was curious as she got an egg at 16 weeks, quite precocious, and also, it is summer in Aussie land.
Disa! I got my first egg on New Year's Eve and I've had at least one a day since. Today I got the most yet, 6! Before you know it, you'll be rolling in eggs!
Good Luck!

Congratulations! What beautiful birds, and what great examples of firist eggs, not narrow and small like some do! I think special treats are in order! I gave mine yogurt with some blueberries and raisens mixed in.
I ended up eating my first eggs, I've had 23 so far... They sure do taste...
Cityfarma,
Congratulations! That looks like a wonderufl first egg,,, darn good size at that. Is that a BA in your picture? I'm guessing the egg came from her... it looks a lot like my BA"s color egg. I know they are all different,,but that is my guess!
Pretty birds!
