Finally! First egg from my bantam polish. She's only almost 8 months old! sorry.. Pic won't load.

She sings & hangs out around the nest boxes. I cleaned out the coop today & only found a green egg from one of the ee's. Looked everywhere around the run & nothing. She's the low hen of the flock & doesn't go far from the coop.

I have one girl left. Bantam polish. Unless she is laying where I can't see them. She's 7 months old.

I'm so happy! 4 out of 6 are now laying. 1 older hen is molting & my bantam polish we are still waiting on. But at least we are getting 3-5 eggs a day which includes the duck. :)

Yay! This is from one of 3 EE's. I think I've narrowed it down to Blondie or Valentine. I don't think Bean is ready yet. Blondie has been ready for weeks & Valentine has just turned red & squatting this past week.

I am really getting tired of all this waiting! Have 6 hens and only 1 is laying. 4 are 6 months old, 2 are 5.5 months and one is 1 year (she's molting now so has a better excuse than the others!). Just venting. I know that I just have to have patience!! Just can't wait to see what colors my ee's...

Wowee! Gonna be a double yolker for sure! From my BR. The one in the middle is hers from yesterday & the white one is a store bought grade a large. This is from my duck this morning. Yummy!

First egg from my duck! Looks blue for some reason but it's not blue at all. Light tan. The brown one is from my BR.

Shouldn't she be laying soon? She's been this red for a few weeks now. I can't stand the wait! Can I squeeze an egg out of her? LOL!
