Of course! I wasn't expencting anything until the end of Aug so we got eggs a month earlier, Our first egg we got was under the grill and I went with a shovel to dig the "mushroom" out. lol
Our red sex links started at 16 weeks, our Leghorns started at 18 weeks. Every chicken is deffierent :) Both will be 19 weeks on Monday and are laying everyday.
Our first jumbo from our 18 week pullets. I am guessing it is a tripple yolk, we got a lot of double yolks. Guess I'll find out when we have eggs next :)
Jumbo weighed 2.7 ounces and the medium egg weighed 1.5 ounces. what a difference!
So nugget left an egg in the hutch this morning out of my reach and it cracked coming out. Openeed it the rest of the way to give to the dog, not olnly is it double yolk but it's fertilized!
