Elk Caribou. Comparing to @Melky's photo, what I'm seeing is the large, backward arch of the antlers. Also the lack of the dark cape, which may just mean the animal is female. 🤷‍♀️ I could certainly be wrong. I often am!

Is that an elk? I think we call that a caribou or a reindeer here. Are you in Canada?

It may not have been the "right" thing to do, but it certainly shows a level of kindness and compassion that's nice to see in children. ❤️

I didn't know the name of the composer, I was 16 at the time. It was beautiful, haunting music, though. I'll look him up, thanks.

Not sure. One of them. I never saw most of them, just liked the music. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly ... For a Few Dollars More ... A Fistful of Dollars ... what else?

It is cool. Looks like a distance shot of Clint Eastwood at the beginning of one of his "spaghetti western" movies. I can hear the music now ....

I think this is what I have always known as a garter snake. Garter, not garden. Named after the elasticized things ladies used to wear to hold up their stockings. Back when ladies wore stockings! 🤣 A noble mein, to be sure! (Mein = appearance). It's my day to use obsolete words, I guess.
