I think it’s important to leave the “Buy or Sell” threads unanswered unless you are actually interested in purchasing or selling what the member offers or asks for. Replying if you're not actually interested in selling/buying something from the member just takes it off the Unanswered Threads...

Sometimes doing so is not a great idea. Leaving comments of encouragement would then take a thread off the “Unanswered Threads” list… then someone that can actually help wouldn’t be able to see it. I appreciate your want to help!

Yes, I’m aware that this happens but maybe sometimes someone who can actually help won’t see it unless they get tagged… or sometimes someone that could actually help skips through since it’s already answered. It could go both ways. I guess you’re right.
