Not really a good idea, IMO.

Forcing them to go to articles instead of starting a thread would only make article questions/discussion increase exponentially. There's no way to moderate and/or administer logic, common sense, integrity on a forum... ....or anywhere else.

I think this would start folks posting questions in the articles...and them not getting answers. Yes, the search function stinks. I use it from time to time, but usually know exactly what I'm looking for and am pretty good with keywords.

I knocked off a few within my arena of knowledge. The last two pages are mostly BST....not sure those should be on the list?

Probably both. The 3 forums I browse daily(management, behavior/laying, construction) have definitely slowed down with new threads in the last couple weeks. Typical seasonal shift. The chat threads never slow down ;) always at the top of the new posts list.

I got a couple, most are out of my expertise tho. I don't like 'answering' without a real answer. Would replying "bump for more attention" help? Love that the forum names are on the list!!

That's true...but sometimes answers are hard to come by. I tried to give some advice there, but I don't usually browse that forum as it's not my area of knowledge.

Should be titled 'looking for volunteers to be tagged to answer posts'... ...because that's the main point, eh?

Might be good to get a list of people willing to be tagged first ;) Maybe start a new thread for that.

In my daily browse thru a few of the sub-forums I regularly answer threads with no replies but have upwards of 50 views, so pretty normal.

Is there a 'code breaker' or index for these numbers? Not familiar with the numbers/forum connection?

Yeah, but not as important as folks coming here for chicken info, IMO. .....and why I suggested separate lists for social stuff.

Yes, skip games, ramblings, etc...the purely social forums? ...or separate list for the social stuff.
