Final count on my last hatch 16... out of 78 eggs. I am not impressed. I hope the next one goes better

Not a great hatch right now.... 12 maybe? I will try to count soon... butI may accidentally have put22 marans eggs in the bator tonight so it looks like I have joined the September hatch

According to my DH and space I should be done for a while.... the only exception is IF the BBW starts laying. Of course those ALL go in the bator

2 weeks till hatch! Still have some in the 360 incubator too.

so 13 chicks and 3 turkeys running around the brooder and 2 marans just hatched in the incubator

a little smoke collored chick, 2 blue slste turkeys and more full feathered yellow ones. And more to come

Correction the 2 yellow ones are full feathered... still wonderful news! That makes 3!

Just set lockdown for my Aug 1st hatch.... still hoping for lots of blue nn.... I am headed for as big a chicken as I can grow. 10 pound roosters and 8 pound hens are what I would love to see..... I have a few red broiler type hens in with my Big rooster so I hope to get bigger and quicker for...

Mine were nothing special just backyard ducks but it seems like it was only the ducks that had the extra excess goo??? Best of luck. Hatching the ducks was the fun part I just didnt like brooding them.... yuck lol

I seem to remember hatching ducks and having similar stuff left in the egg.... babies seemed fine? Still alive 5 months later?? So maybe not a bad thing??
