    Do you have the dog safe traps for raccoons? That's how we got two of the three that were causing issues before. Just stick a marshmallow inside and in a few days we had a raccoon

    The wilds here are constantly dropping bugs onto my chickens. It's too the point where I just try to keep them from getting too severe. There is just no way I can keep everything mite free with my setup and rhe wilds unfortunately

    We lost our old gal to diabetes too a few years ago. Totally agree that what you did was absolutely the kindest thing you could do in this case. Hopefully your broccoli does better than mine. chickens gobbled it right down

    Snakes do that a lot. Some are able to regurgitate it quick enough, others can't. Part of why I stopped using fakes in places that they can get to easily

    My males have always done really well on layer feed. And heck, I've been over run with chicks almost every spring.
