I've never brought a pet cross-border, but I believe that yes, a certificate of health is required and, depending on species, perhaps vaccinations. Speak to the vet about it, and perhaps contact your border station?

You might want to check Kijiji. Also, I don't know if it would be further than you're willing to drive, but Performance Poultry just outside of Belleville has some of those. Orders are closed for the year though and won't open again until January.
