hello everyone, just stopping by to see how every one is doing
right now it is pretty dry here in Saskatchewan, we really could use some more rain. just hoping there are no fires.
i use only use humane traps. (its the law)
here in Canada (not sure about the states though) we signed the international humane agreement of trapping or something like that. that requires us by law to only use humane traps which are by the way certified to the standards of the agreement, i use...
a few reasons,
first off i live in prime coyote country (Sask and Alberta have the highest amount of coyotes) also we have some of the highest value coyotes (in the fur trade) i hunt them for there hides,
and to protect prey animals, deer can take a heavy loss in certain weather to coyotes...
this weekend am planning to go up to my family's land and do some coyote hunting and trapping what ever fur bearer is around, supposed to be nice, maybe get some ice fishing in.
no i never really got around to it lol,
always seemed to be something else to do, but now am planning to start a farm on some land my family bought last year.
to be honest am not sure.
we just winterize for very cold weather. and i think we are classified as a dry cold if that makes sense. not sure about that 100% though.
