Beautiful weather today as we had a little cookout at my mom and dad's. My mom has six shepherd hooks for hanging baskets and each of us girls got her one and didn't plan it. Tonight we went to a local(ish) theater and listened to a Holocaust survivor speak. It was very moving. He spoke of how much he loved this country that rescued him, that when he was old enough, he joined our military- tripletfeb

Everyone at work had to watch a three hour group of videos about proper food handling and safety then take a test after. It was for our Person In Charge certificate for the kitchen. The head cook and the assistant cook both got 65% on the test and our dishwasher got a 70% so I was kinda nervous...- tripletfeb

It wasn't a test specifically for gluten. I went to an allergist to determine why I have been getting hives for years. The doctor told me that chronic hives are not caused by food allergies, but caused by an environmental allergy. Or a symptom of something else- tripletfeb
