    According to the link, a Silkie with a walnut comb (pea + rose) can have the same restricted wattles as one with a pea comb, since they both have the pea genetics.

    Could still turn out to be either a pea or a walnut. Walnuts have genetics for both pea and rose, so I don’t see why that confirms it as something else.

    This one looks like a pea comb. This looks like a walnut.

    Definitely not caused by barring then. I’m not sure of the genetics.

    Looks like the wash on the legs that barred hens get. So yellow legs plus the feather pattern that causes the wash (I think it’s barring?).
