Two hatched! I'm thrilled :) I did have to go in and help the darker one out a bit. Really glad I did, because he's perfectly healthy; he'd just managed to position himself where zipping was not a possibility. They're already giving me the muscovy side eye - I can't wait for them to grow up!

I have some muscovies due mid August. I'm already brooding some younglings from a hatchery, but they're all white so I got these eggs to see if I couldn't add a bit of color. I make a point of assuming every hatch is going to be a complete failure - that way whatever happens is either expected...
