Now that I think about it…I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a petrol/hybrid/full EV pickup at any truck pulling events I’ve been to. All of them were diesel.

I think people prefer diesels ‘cos they seem to get better gas mileage and last longer…Packs more power per punch, or so they say.

Yeah, I did some homework again last night and it looks like Toyota is releasing a V6 Tundra hybrid in AU instead of Tacoma to compete with Ford.

Yeah, I’m guilty of the same thing and didn’t know that the Hilux was smaller than the Tacoma until recently.

They’re okay. I’ve only seen a handful still around here and knew 2 people who used to have one. I didn’t think they were very fast but I’m sure with the right modifications anything is possible.

Either way…Yeah, s10’s are definitely not fast but they are and can be extremely furious. I lost count of how many burnouts I’ve done in mine over the years. Might even do one tonight maybe.
