You know, I'm only just realising how different the cars one gets here are, compared to where you guys are.
Half of the time I don't really know what you're talking about 😅 just because we don't get those here.
I, have not (yet) broken a driveshaft. I have destroyed a rim, smashed a radiator, rad support, bumper and bash plate. Oh, and knocked a wing mirror off. 🤞
I have not yet been to a marriage or a funeral.
I'm guessing my reaction to the wedding would be 'run away and hide embarrassment' while still enjoying it.
Funerals are sad, but maybe at the same time a good way of letting go of things.
Yeah, and there's always new ones to learn.
For example, in the moment there's a noise in the front. Now, the trouble is, I was test driving it, so trying as hard as I could to pick up one anything. And then your mind started playing tricks with you.
I'm suspecting it is just tyre noise, but am...
My next event in just under two weeks, will be my first two day event as driver. I've co-driven it twice before, neither time finishing. Third time luckly?
It is 250km competitive, starting out on fast shire stages, then going into the forest. Night stages as well which is always fun!
Last year...
What needs doing with it? Love the colour!
Question, how good offroad are those types of utes? I'm guessing they're pretty good, unless its a very tight track.
I am right handed, but always though I am slightly left footed. For example, when I jump over things, I aways take off with my left foot. I don't think it matters for driving though...its more just learning how. When one thinks about it, driving isn't something one does naturally anyway.
Not that I was 'trained' as such, I just taught myself. (Although I'm sure I had a lot more enthusiasm then many people!)
So many people thought it is dangerous, because you will push both pedals I'm an emergency.
I'm just not quite getting it.. it's so not hard to not do that! And, with...
Also, my car is looking a lot better again. Just needs a lick o' paint, finish off a couple of things, and it's ready to go....just in nice time, because the next event is under 2 weeks away!
I'm part of a group on fb called The dull mens club.
People talk about pretty much anything on it (and its not only for men), as long as it is on the dull side. Anyway, someone made a post about how he left foot brakes when driving.
For me, left foot braking is something crucial in a rally, but...
I think this one might need a little more then a zip tie....although normally of course they will fix anything!
Realistically, radiator and rad supports, (the supports are a hard to get bit, but we should be able to make something work) re-do the bashplate and bashplate supports, and straighten...
