I shut off the incubator today. :( I knew it was a longshot, but I suspect that since the girls were not Quite mature enough yet to be laying when he was taken, that maybe makes it impossible. Perhaps if they had already come to maturity ...and then I had eggs from up to two weeks later, there...
I tried to check my eggs yesterday, a couple of the least likely to be fertile around midday, and the rest at night. It's still early, but I'm not sure I saw anything too interesting going on. :/. I will probably check again tonight which would be closer to 3.5 days... Fx
Yes! You counted right 👍 I was thinking Friday, too, and I think you're right that it makes sense to wait till nighttime when everything will be darker, plus getting closer to 3.5 days at that point...
