Thanks! I have seen people on here say that you don’t start counting the 21 days until 24 hours after setting but that doesn’t seem to be the case? I’ve always been a little confused on that. I know temp can make a difference.
They are Wyandotte/Orpington crosses, so decent sized eggs.
I’m not really worried. When I put them on lockdown Wednesday night they looked good but no internal pip yet. I may candle one or two tonight if I don’t see any external but I’m not worried yet. If there’s still nothing happening...
Tonight was lockdown so we candled one last time.
11/12 of them look good (to my very untrained eye). About as good as I could hope for. I think the one bad one looked like a quitter but without the red ring so we just left it in just in case.
