Thanks! I have seen people on here say that you don’t start counting the 21 days until 24 hours after setting but that doesn’t seem to be the case? I’ve always been a little confused on that. I know temp can make a difference.

All of you with chicks hatching, what day did you set them ?

They are Wyandotte/Orpington crosses, so decent sized eggs. I’m not really worried. When I put them on lockdown Wednesday night they looked good but no internal pip yet. I may candle one or two tonight if I don’t see any external but I’m not worried yet. If there’s still nothing happening...

I put my eggs in on the 18th at 1:30 pm. I keep checking but no one has pipped yet.

I have 12 eggs set. Due Easter. At least 3-4 should be from this pairing. Full brother and sister. I asked someone on here a while back but I think I could get all kinds of different offspring from this match. Their parents were a BLRW and a Lavender Orpington.
