We've settled on CeeCee!
She's suuuper cuddly and definitely has kitten energy. She "meeoowwww"s whenever someone comes in the barn. I think she's 8ish weeks old.
How'd I miss this whole tab discussion? 😆
Every one is talking about 100+, or less than five. I have a happy medium going, with 11 on my laptop, and 14 on my phone. :P Doesn't include BYC, since I have the extension app thing.
My Stranger and I found a little kitten! It was dumped at a state park in the middle of nowhere. He was meowing and crying, then finally got up the courage to sniff my hand and take pets, and I was able to pick him right up. We were going to take him to a place where he could get adopted by some...
I sat off on my own at my own tables and in corners, just because I was comfortable there. Looking back, I suppose I was the "weirdo in the corner" or some such, quite unironically. Folks outside of the two friends I made in math talked to me a little, though I could see they thought me a tad...
Oh, I know how you feel. I just wrapped up my time doing classes at the school I had to drive up to every day. I really felt like I had no time for everything, and absolutely, yes, attending a school in the first place and having to deal with a bunch of people(not to mention their being...
Hello! I'm doing great, though it's unfortunate to hear you're coming down with something. I hope you get well quickly. :) Otherwise, how are things for you?
I've been having a great time so far this summer with the stranger. This morning I made some tasty biscuits and gravy. I have a bunch of...
We went through sooo many curriculums! It was always confusing. 😅 Dozens of them for different subjects each. The most consistent was probably using Tapestry of Grace for most of our Literature and History, though History switched up a couple of times.
I did have to do the CAT. Ohio laws on testing recently changed to be a lot more lax, but I had to do it every year until I turned 18, then I was legally exempt.
That's great. I just wrapped up doing two classes at a private Christian school, and I was having a hard time fathoming how little it seems we covered. So much wasted time. It was still a good experience though, a unique social experiment for me.
So how has homeschooling been treating you? I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it.
Sorry it's been a couple of days, lol, a lot of us pop in and out of being busy.
That's really neat! I have a friend who used to do dog shows years ago. They sound fun, we've just never been a big "dog" family, though we do have them as pets.
Im getting some more stuff wrapped up. I've got government, literature, and math to do mainly. The rest of my summer will be putting around with the Stranger.
I did horse based electives a few times, that was great fun. Health, training, and horsemanship.
