That must have been a relief!
Actually, it is both of Luna's largest premolars that have slab fractures all the way down to the pulp. I am thinking a buffalo bone is the culprit. She wasn't allowed to have them after she cracked one bone in half one time, but she recently stole one from...
Made an unexpected trip to the vet this morning. I found out Luna has fractured two molars. She will have to have them extracted. Better now than later, I guess. But, man, this year is not giving us a break...
That's good that it's working there. I think my vet said the Advantix works for ticks but not fleas and the Frontline works for fleas but not ticks. I could be remembering wrong though.... Anyway, we don't have a flea problem up here so Advantix II/Provecta Advanced works for us.
This is what I get. It's a cheaper version of K9 Advantix II. My vet says Frontline or anything with the same ingredients as Frontline doesn't work in this area anymore. I know Provecta (from this company) works on my dogs because Luna was just bitten by a tick the other day and it quickly...
You are not the only one. But I don't usually let Luna off leash in the summertime because all she wants to do is find something nasty/poisonous to eat or roll in. Dorie does get off leash time though.

Awesome! I know how scary it is when your dog chokes on their food. My Boston was free fed before I adopted her and she started inhaling her food when I switched her to multiple meals a day. Makes me so glad slow feeder bowls exist!
Her only symptom that I can see so far is watery eyes. She's had relatively clean eyes her whole life until a few months ago when I noticed tear staining which is very unusual for her. I'm glad I mentioned it to the vet.
Went to the vet today for an annual exam and Dorie was diagnosed with glaucoma. It's in one eye now but we will be treating both her eyes with eye drops to slow the progression. She's not a young dog anymore... :(
Aw, that's sad. My first thought was she's in pain, but you might be right that she actually can't see. Good that you're getting her to the vet.
Luna's been acting off too. Her back leg is hurting her again and I think she's very clingy and more afraid of everything because of it. She's...
