Good to know, thank you! This aviary will only be housing quail, and the gravel is all about 0.75-1" in diameter, so hopefully their little feet can't do too much damage. But we'll be filling the interior of the aviary with 4-6" of dirt & mulch also, so they'd have to dig quite deep through that...
