I have read that those aquiring houses for inflated prices are then renting them for inflated prices. I see that on my street, as people pass away their houses are sold and turned into rentals. And they're expensive rentals for little 1970s ranch houses.
Insurance compaines stink. My dh died, I filed the insurance, and the company denied it. They said they didn't cover dementia related death, but would cover Alzheimers death. My arguments fell on deaf ears.
They'll eventually be judged.
On my recent trip to KY I stopped at a small country store that sold Amish/local goods. Next to the apple butter I found blackberry butter. It was so good that I stopped on the way home, bought two extra jars. It's like jam, just more spreadable. Yum yum.
