I've never seen such slim pickings for chicks at tractor supply.What happened this year?

I couldn't find legbar pullets or any other breeds I wanted from our local TS store so I ordered chicks from Murray McMurray. They were sold out of legbars too but I managed to get the other breeds ( 2 cream legbar cockerels 13 pullets various breeds)All of them lived

Beautiful birds! I do believe your rooster is a Bielefelder! CC Legbars don't have all the dark colors

I'm sure they'll be getting them soon! My cockerels were put outside at 4 weeks old and started growing their crests after they were fully feathered at 6 weeks.They were half the size of the other chicks same order (McMurray)

I'd love to have some of these hens but I'll have to thin my flock Or build a bigger coop lol
