In my opinion, the German types are much prettier than the American Boxers. Their heads are more Mastiff-shaped while the American Boxer shape reminds me of pit bull puppies.

There is nothing more Boxer than that!

That is another Boxer trait. They are huge lap dogs. They love curling up into the tiniest places to sleep. Mine would stuff all 70 pounds of himself into my Boston Terrier's crate to sleep.

Oh yeah, lots of people think a big barking Boxer is very scary. Baxter came in handy with unwanted visitors. :D But he was very friendly with invited visitors.

They can have a strong dog odor but also their health problems can cause them to stink. Like gingival hyperplasia can cause very bad breath.
