    My eggs are all either empty or not developed anymore. I think it’s a bad hatch, the eggs are from a young free range flock, and like I said, some were frozen. I’m going to try quail at some point.

    Remove a small amount of shell, not enough to dry the membrane, just enough so you can see it a little better, if the bird starts unzipping on its own, then wait for it to get 3/4 of the way around, then gently lift the loose part off. If not, well, your bird seems a bit tired, and maybe you...
