Yay! We do have two Golden Comets, and that's one of them tucked in the corner of one photo. I'm off to look at White Leghorn info and see if it matches what we've seen with ours! Thanks again!
Having checked out videos of Cornish crosses, I'd say they're not THAT chunky -- of course, that's not definitive, but at the moment I'm thinking not a meat production growth rate.... thanks for chiming in, I learned things!
Well I'm a newbie and it's probably about to show! Got 10 chicks from our local Big R, 2 each from 5 bins. I'm happy enough with the ID of 8 of them (4 varieties) but sweet little me didn't bat an eye at the label on these two -- allegedly golden-laced Wyandottes! 😂
Any idea what they might...
