I may have posted this pic of Toby, my Dom rooster, before. He has a twisted wing on this side from where a dog briefly got hold of him, but still he struts and crows. I find him rather inspiring.

We have them here too but you have to stay up late to enjoy them.

Do NOT plant it on or near your house. Very pretty and yes, humm'birds love it, but it will pull screens off your windows and shingles off your roof. It will damage your soffets and fascia and work its way into your attic and it's practically impossible to kill, even with RoundUp. Ask me how I know.

Sammy's schnozz on my red aproned lap. This is his "Feed me, Momma, I'm hungry" face, even though it's half an hour before feeding time. Could you say No to this face? I can't, and he knows it. Disney eyes!
