I may have posted this pic of Toby, my Dom rooster, before. He has a twisted wing on this side from where a dog briefly got hold of him, but still he struts and crows. I find him rather inspiring.
Do NOT plant it on or near your house. Very pretty and yes, humm'birds love it, but it will pull screens off your windows and shingles off your roof. It will damage your soffets and fascia and work its way into your attic and it's practically impossible to kill, even with RoundUp. Ask me how I know.
