To "the old chick" -I -thiink you just might have the most photogenic front yard. I always enjoy your pictures. I have seen some amazing sunsets from my front porch swing though. I'm just not very good at capturing them.

My son has a 1977 Ford pick up- no power steering. He handles it just fine, but the boy has young,strong muscles. I drove it a couple of times when he first got it. The small gas station in town was a nightmare of maneuvering! Let's just say I do Not have strong young muscles...
There. Check out that beauty. My avatar is my son's first truck- a 1977 black and gray classic Ford truck with four on the floor and an engine compartment you can stand in . He has put significant work into it and can now do just about anything with the engine.

Well, someone has a lot of talent! However did they do a gingerbread house with so many details? I can't even get the most basic "kits" to stay together! The kids and I give up after the walls fall down and the roof collapses for the " umpteenth" time! Of course, it still TASTES good...
So, much of our history gets "swept under the rug". Our children need to know the good and the bad of what has made our country what it is. Maybe if the "bad" of letting the government have total control was understood, people would not be so willing to give up their freedoms...
My two leghorns like to be held more than my other breeds too. One closes her eyes and makes noises when you hold her. Now, if you are a chicken though....she growls and pecks! Fierce little thing! She's half the size of my golden comets and chases them away from anything that resembles food...
