Agreed, as are Welsummers (broodier) and Barnevelders (less broody) and they both have the added bonus of deep brown colored eggs! My cochins are broody too, and they have fuzzy feet!

Will likely take a few weeks for them to get back to normal. Slow down treats like scratch and boost protein.
