I had a hard time finding it too. We have about 5 Mills around here, and only 1 that carried it. I paid around $40.00 for it, got to use it twice and my 3 year old found it and dumped it all over my basement. I have to say though, that since my first treatment with it I have yet to see any...

I love my ducks but would never choose the ducks over the chickens. The personalities are different. My ducks are messy and loud, almost demanding at times. The chickens just go about their day, and come running when I call. I love them both, but would choose the chickens if forced to.

Maryland Poultry Swap & Farmers Market shared Dru Campbell's photo. This dog was released to us by a hoarder in Chester County PA. She is a female Pyr, probably 3-5, lots of peach coloring. We think there is a good chance she was stolen, because unlike the other dogs we received from them, she...

Hey All! Sorry I've been MIA lately. Life has pulled me away from the computer for a bit, but I need some advice, so if anyone has any ideas, please share. I have a BLRW pullet that started laying eggs this month. The first egg had the thinnest shell ever and broke when I picked it up. The rest...

I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to pen up the chickens. The feeling of dread at walking to the coop in the morning to see if they all made it, is terrible. I'm sooo sorry!!

Silkie, I really hope you're right!!! I hatched 1 lonely Blue/Gold Partridge Brahma from Sally's eggs, and it is feathering soo...slowly I was positive it was a roo. You've given me renewed hope! Within 5 days is optimal, but I've set 2 week old eggs before. The older the egg the less viable...

Hey Girl! I was just wondering where you've been the other day. Glad you're back. The best is to hatch a clutch yourself and be able to watch the feather growth of each one. Female wings almost always grow rapidly, along with tail feathers, and then shoulder feathers. Judging within the same...

I heard my mother hen clucking away in the bushes earlier. Thinking she was laying an egg in there I went to investigate, her baby is gone. I'm thinking snake, and I hope it was, because that's better than a hawk getting it. She only had one, and now she's upset. She hasn't left that spot in 2...
