Same here except we still have the snow and it's been flurrying all day. Supposedly we could have some random squalls pop up today too.

I've seen them, they're gorgeous! Believe it or not, I still have 1 old, silkie feathered lavender ameraucana hen running around outside. She's either direct from you or one of my first hatches of them.

How about just "Bruises" since they'd be "Black & Blue" lol Just kidding ;) Pennsylvania Blues sound good but I agree that it might cause confusion since they'd be black hens.

Hope event stayed safe in those storms last night! We had some serious lightning and a tornado warning but there was almost no wind at our house. You can't really hear the continuous thunder in the video but it was just a constant low rumble.

Livestock swap tomorrow morning, 8-5-23 at Tyrone Milling in Tyrone, PA from 9am-1pm (most people fizzle out by 11 or 12 though). We had over 30 vendors last month. It was great!
