Turkey poults are fun to hatch! Did you hatch a couple of chicks with them? The chicks act as tutors and help show the poults to eat and drink water. Poults need more help with that!

They are usually very good Roosters!

With mareks, even vaccinated, a percentage of hens will die at about two years old from cancer. The vaccination lowers the percentage but does not completely stop it.

Does your flock have mareks? Have you had deaths from it?

It depends on the city. Woodland, Davis, west Sacramento and Sacramento allow Hens with different requirements.
