    Hi I bought some of the most beautiful blue hatching eggs from a lady who only has Ameraucana chickens in her farm; no other breeds at all. The problem is she has all the different colorings (BBS, Silver, etc...) all in the same pen, so her hens are being covered by different coloring roosters...

    I just hatched out Blues and Splash Ameraucanas this weekend. I am noticing that with the Blues some have a darker grey color on their heads and backs and the others are light all the way around. Does this mean some are roos and some are pullets?
