Here is a recent post on craigslist Santa Rosa area for a shed that would need only a little modification (pop door, roost, a couple windows). I look at shed ads all the time, this is a good price. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/grd/3065112565.html And, you would have room for a few more!

Eggface I have BBS Ameraucanas and Blue, Black, and Blue Barred Rocks fertile eggs. I am in American Canyon, just off 80. If you were coming from Berkeley on a weekday evening, it would take you a half hour or so. If I save them from a week before, I should have 20-28 or so, a mix of both...

Good luck with your ducks - they are fun, but very messy. And if it is a duckling, you will notice that they grow really fast. Take photos quickly if you want some when it is small.

Alert to local folks. I have some BBS Ams from Pips and Peeps line parents in the bater, due to hatch on the 6th or 7th. I may have some to sell, depending on how many I get, I am keeping some. Should be a lot of splash and blue, as I have a splash and a black roo over two blue and one black...

I have Black Sweedish ducks and drakes, with only one Black Runner drake. My ducklings have always looked Black Sweedish, though, so maybe he is not the dad. I can hatch some anytime if you are interested. Here is one of the drakes posing on hubby's shoulder. We call this the cheep pirate...

I just put up a sale for my BBS Plymouth rock chicks if anyone is interested. About half of them are Blue Barred!. I was confused at first about the genetics, thought I would get all barred chicks from the barred roo over blue hens. But, because he has only a single barring gene, I got blue...

Jeremy: They hatched today. I was talking to Shanshan51 about them, but I have not heard back from her today. She might just be out and about, but if she does not want them do you still have any interest? I am not sure yet how many are barred and how many are blue, at least one is black...

From Jeremy: Do you have any pictures of your adult Rocks AmCanyonStables? Sure, I posted some recently on the Blue rocks thread, not sure how to link it but you could click on my profile and look at recent posts. I have not set the eggs yet, let me know if you want them and I can put...

Sure - how many do you want? I will likely put the eggs I have in the bater tonight, then I could start saving up for you. I am only getting one or two a day right now. PM me or e-mail at [email protected].

Oh no, don't get me started - I just put the finishing touches on my second coop, have a floor to finish in my bedroom, would like to redo the bathroom and the kitchen, plus the job, the business, the horses, etc etc. But of course, being the fool I am, I would love to build a big incubator!

Well, I was thinking about putting some in this weekend. I can wait a bit if need be, let me know. I can only put in 18 at a time, but I don'thave that many yet.

Does anyone have any interest in Black or Blue Barred Rocks? They are good quality, from Halo on this site. I wanted blues, and did end up with blue hens, but the only surviving roo is Black Barred so any chicks will be 50% Black barred and 50% Blue barred. I love to hatch, but have no more...

My broody duck Lois is starting to sit on some eggs again, and I am debating if I will take them away from her or not. Would anyone here like some Black Swedish ducklings in about a month? See how cute - here she is with the last hatch!

Well, that's just about how I thought this would go - we are all up to our necks in roos. My other black roo is a John Bleme that I got from Steff, found out he is a silver carrier from the beautiful girl I got out of him, so he has to stay. So, do they make good dinners? It seems such a...

Does anyone in the area have a need for a black Am roo? He is from pips and peeps eggs, born 7/2 so about 51/2 mos old. I already have a black am roo, and a splash, so need to let him go before things get wild. Free, or trade for a blue pullet, but I'm sure no one is giving those away.

Quote: Hey - if it is affordable Victorians you are looking for, look in Vallejo. There are some really great ones here, and they are really cheep right now. If you are worried about the bad rep - (some of it is undeserved), there are also some nice ones in Benicia, although they cost a...

Well, that is good news - I suspected she was blue but was not sure. I hope you are right about both my blacks, then I could keep them all as I am pretty sure all the blues are pullets. I have six in all - used to have 9 but I tried to integrate them with my 6 week older rocks too soon, one of...

Well yes, even though I'm sure I have excess roos, I'm just that kind of idiot so have to say yes. I have been trying to get a splash for ages. While we are at it, any opinions on these - I think both these are roos, but maybe the second is a girl? And in the last photo, the one on the...

Quote: Yeah.... Bovie Vei - I think I have at least two myself, Black, from Pips and Peeps. Even so, if yours is a splash rather than a light blue, I would take it. I really wanted a splash and did not get any out of my hatch, about the same age as yours. (11 weeks, born 7/3). If one of...
