Thanks! I'll check out the kibble. I feed everything else that you suggested...among other things. I just need her to put that weight back on in a hurry. She actually conditioned while brooding the chicks, so I would like her back up to par before showing. Skin and bones right now.
I have a little white pullet that is in need of some weight gain. She brooded chicks and now I need to gain that weight back. I don't particularly want to give her corn, as it will yellow her a bit. Any suggestions to chunk her up a bit?
Iris is broody! I'm not totally happy about it because she is a nice breeding hen. She has now committed to being broody, but only while in with her flock. I have tried isolating her previously and she abandoned the eggs. This time, I am not going to be fussy about where she decides to set...
