Talk about computers....Got up this morning and my HP printer is on. Have
not brinter in a while. What is goin on??? It is wireless. Trying to turn it off.
Always Fun. ha ha
I. am not a computer Guru...I have tons of photos of our Silkies. I do not know
how to bring them out of My photos to BYC? I have a new I Mac. Just learning
to navigate.
I WOULD not put any small chicks with Sandard older chickens. Strangers.
Once the small chicks are adults....they should be. fine. We had Silkies for
years. We found the only difference...Ours were not good layers...less eggs.
super beautiful soft loveable. Have fun
We had Show Call Ducks and they NEVER went into the coop....we had to drive them in. One of the reasons we decided to have CHICKENS. Our Silkies go into the coop....we do NOT need to drive them in. We now have 7 Chickens 2 older Silkies and 5 other breeds... one Rhode Island Red and 4 Easter...
Our Experience with My Pet Chicken was NOT GOOD. I would not recommend
them. And there are many on BYC New York Thread who are wonderful and
have the breeds you are looking to raise. Check them out...a GREAT bunch
of Chicken Lovers. Aria
Anyone that has Young Silkies for Sale ...we lost most of our flock.
We have one blue, one white, and one splash left. Any color is
fine.
We are in Sauquoit, NY about 9 miles south of Utica, New York.
We are elderly, and cannot afford lots of $. You may have some Silkies
that you need to...
It is best to have a top cover on the run. We have Hawks in our area.
We have a piece of plywood and then a gray tarp over the run. SAFE.
And we have small pea stones in the runs. It seems to stay clean.
We have 8 Silkies. Regards, Aria
The Mud Issues: We have little pebbles in the run....and we have
a top. A piece of Plywood covered with a tarp. This keeps the
run dry and no mud issues. Hope this helps. Regards, Aria
