My silkies start laying between 6-8 months and my Silkie Cuckoo does have red wattles and combs which is common for the cuckoo because of the gene it carries.

I HAVE A FRIZZLE ROO HE IS VERY SHY AND SWEET. MR WIGGLES IS MY ONLY FRIZZLE AND WAS A MUST HAVE JUST BECAUSE HE WAS SO DARN CUTE ! HE HANGS WITH MY LITTLE RIR HEN .MAYBE ONE DAY I WILL INCUBATE SOME OF THEYRE EGGS.

Thanks so much for your imput. the chick Angelica is so far one of my favorites . But her brother salty dog is my pocket chick because he is so sweet and loveable.. Im looking for a nice white Roo to breed her to. I cant wait to see what she will have.I guess that just goes to show dont give up...

Thanks Hawkeye youve seen me post the roo on here before he is the one I have for sale for 10.00. this pair has thrown about 30 chicks before I pulled him from my program because he has red combs and wattles , so far only one chick has shown this. All the30 chicks have awesome feet,wings,crest...
