    as of right now I would say your blue bird is a pullet but you never know till they lay an egg. I have had some tricky birds. I really like her. She has a lot more filling out to do but she is off to a great start.

    with out the shells. somebody told me that awhile back, I don't know if it is 100 % true but I don't want to take chances and have to wait for a molt. like with corn or marigolds.

    yes you will get blues. white birds can be masking other colors. most people when they buy birds or eggs want pure colors. adding white to a colored pen makes it a bit of a crap shoot.
