Guineas are excellent alarms But yes they will hang around but very loud if someone comes around that they do not know.

To me I use Permethrin excellent for them blood suckers.Use a mister or a fogger & spray all around but make sure chickens are out free ranging.Spray all weeds bushes high grass coop & you will rid your place of them nasty blood suckers.
